Online Directory
A standard website ad includes 200 words plus a color photo and four specialties. The charge for a larger ad is $1/word over 200. One primary specialty plus three secondary specialties are listed on the side column of your ad. In a separate section of the directory, your name appears under each of the specialties you selected. You may be listed under more than four specialties for an additional charge of $15 each. On the website, there are different ways of being listed such as by credential plus an additional option of posting an article. The content of the ad is entirely up to you. Feel free to use boldface, italics, bullets, etc.  You can present it in the first-person or the third-person.  You might want to talk about your experience, your approach, the focus of your practice, or your view of therapy. There is a separate group therapy listing available that is included on a separate page on the website.

The material needed for your ad includes:  A hard copy of your text and a disk with the ad copy saved as a text file or the text sent via e-mail, a 5” x 7” color photo or the photo saved as a 300 dpi tif  or jpg file either on disk or sent via e-mail, a completed order form, advertising contract, and payment.

Print Directory (available for the twelfth edition published in March 2009)
Along with the website, a print version is distributed for free throughout the city of San Diego and North County, with at least 60,000 copies printed annually and distributed monthly at 300 locations. The directory will be available at 300 locations including: libraries, health food stores, coffeehouses, bookstores, restaurants and cafes, office buildings, hospitals, college campuses, and fitness clubs.

The listings in the print directory are in alphabetical order. A half-page ad can contain up to 200 words plus a black-and-white photo. A full-page ad can contain up to 400 words and more than one photo (if desired). There is a new option for the full-page ad that contains a half-page ad plus a 200-word article. One primary specialty plus three secondary specialties are listed on the side column of your ad. In a separate section of the directory, your name appears under each of the specialties you selected. You may be listed under more than four specialties for an additional charge. You are also listed under geographical location. On the website, there are different ways of being listed such as by credential plus an additional option of posting an article. There is a separate group therapy listing available that is included in the front of the directory.

Photographer Services
For a photo, I highly recommend the photographer, Ken Randall, at 619-297-7236. He offers a sitting with 30 poses from which to choose and a CD for $95.

Ad Submission
Please submit a hard copy to me showing text in boldface, italics, bullets, etc., the ad copy on disk or e-mailed saved as a text file, a color photo hard copy or saved as a 300 dpi tif file or jpg, along with the order form, advertising contract, payment of the total advertising fee. We take care of designing the ad to fit into our format.
