Allen, Ph.D., has been a psycho-
therapist ince 1976, treating a wide range of issues including
anxiety and trauma. In private practice since 1991, she specializes in
re-creating intimacy and connection in relationships. In
addition to being a licensed clinical psychologist, she is a licensed
marriage and family therapist (MFT), a certified alcohol & drug
abuse counselor (CADAC-II), and a certified practitioner of eye
movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). She teaches
transformative relationship workshops nationally. Her book, entitled
“A Woman’s Guide to Opening a Man’s
Heart,” is an effective and compassionate approach to
resolving relationship issues.
| Paul
Standal, Ph.D., has 30 years experience as a
psychotherapist. In private practice since 1982, he treats depression,
anxiety and PTSD. He specializes in relationship
coaching and pre-marital preparation with a focus on conflict
resolution skills and the mastery of addictive and
compulsive behaviors. As a licensed psychologist and clinical
supervisor/trainer for 15 years, he has led seminars and workshops
throughout California and Nevada in psychotherapeutic theory and
technique. He is currently writing a book on the power of Unconditional
Positive Regard. His latest articles are “The Experiential
Cycle” and “Stinkin Thinkin: Shift
Happens.” He has been married twenty-five years and has four
children and two grandchildren. |
