| Generally
when individuals, couples and families come to therapy they are looking
for emotional relief and solutions to problems. In the safety of a
supportive and confidential environment, my clients explore new options
that will help them gain perspective for coping effectively with
problems, challenges and stressors. My work focuses on optimizing individual strengths and encouraging clients to overcome the obstacles that prevent them from achieving satisfying and fulfilling lives. In addition to working with individuals and couples, I have taught numerous workshops and facilitated groups for married, engaged and committed couples. I have been married for 40 years, and I am a mother and a grandmother. I intimately know the stages of family life and the intricacies and challenges of a long-term marriage. |
