If you are struggling with ongoing issues such as depression or anxiety or undergoing significant changes in your life such as a divorce, job change, or children leaving home, I am here to help you. As a caring psychotherapist, my goal is to work collaboratively with you toward finding solutions that lead to an enhanced quality of life. I also teach you skills to help you cope better. Developing a plan of self-care can be part of that. Taking care of ourselves is an important skill to acquire.

I specialize in individual adult and adolescent psychotherapy as well as work with women in transition. I use traditional cognitive therapy methods which are proven effective for a range of issues. In addition, I utilize hypnotherapy to help enhance your strengths and develop strategies to create a balanced and happy life. Hypnotherapy is especially helpful for treating phobias, managing emotions, and changing habitual negative thought patterns.
