Have you experienced a significant life trauma, stressor, or loss? Are you struggling with family conflicts or relationship difficulties? Are you challenged with parenting or a child who is struggling with behavioral, academic, or emotional issues? Many of us struggle with isolation, anxiety, depression, helplessness, and feeling "stuck" due to life stresses.

If you are feeling overwhelmed and confused, therapy can help you cope, adapt, and heal. I provide you with specific tools and skills to explore and understand your challenges, facilitate your coping skills and self-esteem, and help you develop new ways to adapt and change in response to your difficult life situation.

With adults and couples, I develop a meaningful relationship with you so that you can acquire healthier relationship styles, make better choices, and have more positive thoughts and feelings. When working with children, adolescents, and families, I also pay close attention to each family member's needs and developmental issues.

Over the last fifteen years, I have practiced as a clinician, supervisor, professor, and consultant. I have extensive experience with divorce, stepfamilies, adoption, cross-cultural issues, depression, anxiety, stress and adjustment, school difficulties, learning and developmental disabilities, and psychoeducational assessment.

I use a warm and nonjudgmental approach to understand and resolve the difficulties you may be experiencing. In collaboration, we determine your immediate and long-term needs and goals. As we work together, I can facilitate a deeper understanding of your life challenges, and enable you to achieve change and success.
