I envision therapy as a pathway to self-discovery. My goal as a therapist is to creatively employ a magical blend of insight and motivation, whereby the therapist and client work together to inspire positive changes. I believe that my approach recognizes each client's uniqueness, and I am acutely aware that no two problems are quite the same. I invite clients to examine their thinking patterns, in order to gain a clearer understanding of what is holding them back from the life they desire. It is my sincere wish to help people acquire problem-solving skills in therapy, that will help them in overcoming life's challenges.

Certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (www.eft.ca), which provides couples with the necessary tools to rebuild trust and replenish loving feelings in their relationship. The approach allows couples to experience their relationship as a "safe haven," so that they can heal old wounds and form healthier communication patterns. Also trained in the John M. Gottman Institute's Scientifically-Based Marital Therapy.
